The Didcot Allotment Society is a community group which facilitates and promotes all that is good and enjoyable about growing fruit, vegetables and flowers, for recreation, health, education and community spirit!

Additional membership of the National Allotment Society (NAS)

This gives us the following benefits

  • Free liability insurance cover for all allotmenteers (click this link for details of the policy)

  • Discounts on many gardening products including 40% discount on seeds from King's Seeds

  • Free access to the NAS quarterly magazine

  • Help in fighting potential loss of allotment sites in Didcot

Information exchange

  • Regular member updates, including notice of events and summaries of the meetings of the Allotment Liaison Group via the DAS newsletter and Facebook group

  • Contact with experienced gardeners for newcomers to allotment life

  • Seasonal gardening tips and recipes in the DAS newsletter

Events

  • Seed swaps and plant bring-and-buys

  • Annual General Meeting (usually accompanied by a plant sale)

  • Stalls at fetes and other public events

All this for £5 annual membership fee

  • running from 1st May to 30th April each year

  • £3 of which goes to the National Allotment Society
