Allotment sites in didcot:

  • Broadway

  • Cockcroft Road

  • Mereland Road

  • New Road

  • Wantage Road

Visit the Didcot Town Council website for further information â–º

TOP TIP! Availability changes through out the year so make sure you sign up to be first on the list. Also, ask the local council if any allotment holders may be interested in sharing a plot. This is a great way to start if you don't want the commitment of a very large plot. You could also ask one of the Allotment Reps to pin an advert to our notice boards if you are looking for a plot share.

There is an annual fee for holding an allotment which is due every April.

You can find up to date information on allotment plot fees here on the Didcot Town Council Website:

Right in the middle of the town, the Broadway allotments are the oldest and most established of all the sites. July 2016 marks its 100th anniversary!

New Road

The biggest of all the 5 sites with the biggest plots, New Road is also home to some hens, the Restore Centre and the Sustainable Didcot Community Allotment.

Mereland Road

Tucked away behind Mereland Road, this allotment site is a quiet haven.

CockcroftRoad

Located near Didcot Wave Leisure Centre, behind the shops on Cockcroft Road, this site is ideally located to pick up a local paper and a sweet treat on your way to the allotments!

Wantage
Road

The smallest of all the 5 sites, Wantage Road is a real hidden gem. It's lovely and quiet, tucked back from the road and easy distance from the pub and shop.
