Photo Competition (2023):
Wonky Fruit or Veg
The competition opens for entries on 14th May 2023
The competition closes on 30th September 2023 and the winner will be announced during the week beginning 2nd October 2023.

This year’s photographic competition is to submit a photograph of an unusual shaped vegetable or fruit grown on the allotment of a society member.

The DAS Photographic Competition is owned and run by Didcot Allotment Society.

The competition is a multi-category, free to enter annual competition aimed at garden lovers, horticulturists and photographers alike.

The aim of the competition and the society is to encourage people to grow their own fruit and vegetables and to share their passion with others by recording their work through the art of photography.

The DAS Photographic Competition is free to enter.

Conditions of Entry

All entries must be submitted to das@didcotallotments.com

Entrants are permitted to enter up to 3 images to the competition via the email address above.

Entries must be submitted digitally. Scanned negatives are accepted but must meet the criteria of digital image file requirements.

Image entry file size must not exceed 4MB and is recommended to be at least 1200 pixels on the longest length, and in landscape format. Images must be submitted by noon on the 30th of September 2023. Images must not include watermarks, borders, or signatures.

Black and white images are eligible for all categories.

The photos may be used on the DAS website or social media pages.

The photos should feature allotment produce grown on the entrant’s allotment.

All entrants should be DAS members or an immediate family member.
